What is the Babyscore?

Safety is an essential criterion when buying a car seat. To help you find your way around all the technical information, Babylor has created the Babyscore. Thanks to this rating system, you can quickly find out how each car seat rates in terms of safety. To find out more about the Babyscore and the full evaluation criteria, click here.

Our car seats have been tested by recognised independent bodies such as l’ADAC où le TCS. Our products are selected on the basis of their performance in these independent crash tests, whose evaluation criteria are more rigorous than those used for approval in Europe.

Some of our seats have also been awarded the + Test (carried out in Sweden by an independent body) based on even more stringent assessment criteria.

The Babyscore is based solely on the car seat safety criteria obtained in these additional tests. Criteria such as use or comfort of the car seat are not taken into account in the Babyscore.
