The rear-facing car seat that pushes the limits of use
The CarGO is a purely rear-facing car seat. It is UN R129-3 approved. The CarGO has passed the Swedish VTI Plus test.

A safe, long-lasting car seat
The design of the seat is based on the former KISS 2 Plus seat. Klippan has taken this successful concept to the next level.
The Klippan CarGO car seat is suitable for newborns up to around 4 years of age (max 105cm / 20kg). As the child grows, the separate reducer cushion for the baby is removed, so that the dimensions of the seat increase and are therefore suitable for a larger child.
The seat is equipped with a carrying handle for newborns. Very practical for moving the car seat from the car to the Genus pushchair (ref BAB1026). When the carry handle is no longer needed, you can store it in the space provided at the back of the seat.
To prevent children from pulling their arms out of the harness during the journey, the Klippan CarGO has a chest clip integrated into the shoulder pads.

The Klippan CarGO seat is installed in the car using a separate iSize base. The base is installed in the car's isofix/iSize mountings, minimising the risk of incorrect installation.

As your child grows, simply remove the baby reducer and adjust the harness and headrest as your child grows. The adjustment system is integrated and easily adjustable (8 positions).

CarGO fabrics are hypoallergenic. They contain no components likely to cause allergies or itching in your child. The covers are hand-sewn in Finland. Cargo is made without the use of glue or chemicals.

The Klippan CarGO car seat can be used with the child's back to the road up to 20kg (i.e. from birth to around 4 years of age).
As a specialist in extended rearward-facing car seats, Klippan recommends that you allow your children to travel with their backs to the road for as long as possible. In the event of a collision, the risk of serious injury is 5 times lower in a rear-facing car seat than in a forward-facing seat.
According to the R44/04 approval, children up to 9 kg must travel with their backs to the road. Approval R129 allows this requirement to be extended by making it compulsory for children to travel with their backs to the road until they are at least 15 months old, the aim being to guarantee perfect protection in the event of a collision. In the event of a frontal impact in an accident, the child's body is pushed to the bottom of the seat instead of being propelled forward. This protects the sensitive areas (head, neck and spine) that become more robust from the age of 4 onwards.

Tutorial for installation in a vehicle
Follow these steps to install this car seat correctly in your vehicle
Installation with seat belt
- Unfold the strut from the base.
- Place the base in your vehicle in a seat with Isofix anchorage points.
- Push the Isofix arms out of the base using the buttons on the sides of the base.
- Attach the Isofix arms to the anchorage points by pushing the base towards the back of your vehicle seat. The indicator lights should turn green.
- Place your car seat on top of the base so that it is in the rear-facing position.
- Attach the front of the seat to the hooks on the base, then clip the back of the car seat onto the base.
