The height of the Cosmo 2.0 harness can be adjusted to three positions to suit your little one's growth.

The Cosmo 2.0 is a shell that can be used from birth up to 87 cm in the rear-facing position.
According to R44/04 approval, children up to 9 kg must travel with their backs to the road. Approval R129 extends this requirement by making it compulsory for children to travel with their backs to the road until they are at least 15 months old, the aim being to guarantee perfect protection in the event of a collision. In the event of a frontal impact in an accident, the child's body is pushed to the bottom of the seat instead of being propelled forward. This protects the sensitive areas (head, neck and spine) that become more robust from the age of 4 onwards.

Functionality and safety
Avionaut's Isofix IQ Orbit base is a pivoting base designed to make it easier to install and use the brand's car seats. It rotates through 270°, allowing the seat to be turned towards the door so that the child can be installed or removed easily, reducing the physical effort required by parents.
This base is compatible with several Avionaut car seat models, including the Cosmo, Pixel PRO , AeroFIX and AeroFIX RWF. This extended compatibility means that the base can be used for a long time, from the first journeys with a newborn to daily trips to nursery school.
It attaches securely to the vehicle using the Isofix connectors and an additional support strut, guaranteeing a stable and safe installation.
The base meets the strictest safety standards. To ensure correct installation, the IQ Orbit base is equipped with a Click ‘n’ Drive system: visual and audible signals confirm that the car seat is correctly attached to the base. This feature reduces the risk of errors during installation, giving parents peace of mind.

Tutorial for installation in a vehicle
Follow these steps to install this car seat correctly in your vehicle
Installation with seat belt
- Place the shell in the vehicle in the back-to-front position
- Pass the lap belt through the green guides on either side of the hull. Then fasten the seatbelt.
- Pass the diagonal belt through the green guide at the back of the shell.
- Pull the seatbelt tight to remove any slack.
- Lower the handle of the shell so that it rests against the backrest of your vehicle. This will act as an anti-bounce bar.
- The shell is perfectly in place, so your child can travel in complete safety.
Installation with the isofix base IQ Orbit or IQ 2.0
- Position the base on the vehicle seat and unfold the strut.
- Extend the isofix arms on both sides of the base and anchor them to the anchor points located in the car seat between the backrest and the seat.
- Check that the indicators have turned green and push the base as far as it will go against the backrest.
- Adjust the height of the strut so that the foot meets the resistance of the car floor.
- Place the shell on the isofix base already installed. You will hear a characteristic click. Check that the indicator has turned green.

Le Cosmo 2.0 est une coque s'utilisant dès la naissance jusqu'à 87 cm en position dos à la route.
Selon l’homologation R44/04, jusqu’à 9 kg, les enfants doivent obligatoirement voyager dos à la route. L’homologation R129 permet d’allonger cette utilisation en rendant l’obligation d’être dos à la route jusqu’à 15 mois minimum; le but étant de garantir une parfaite protection lors d’une possible collision. Lors d'un choc frontal dans un accident, le corps de l’enfant est poussé au fond du siège au lieu d’être propulsé en avant. Les zones sensibles qui atteignent une meilleure robustesse à partir de l’âge de 4 ans (la tête, le cou et la colonne vertébrale) sont alors préservées.

Tutoriel d'installation dans un véhicule
Suivez ces étapes pour bien installer ce siège auto dans votre véhicule
Installation avec la ceinture de sécurité
- Placez la coque dans le véhicule en position dos-route
- Passez la ceinture ventrale dans les guides verts situés des deux côtés de la coque. Puis bouclez la ceinture de sécurité.
- Passez la ceinture diagonale dans le guide vert situé à l'arrière de la coque.
- Tirez bien sur la ceinture de sécurité pour enlever le jeu de la ceinture. La coque est parfaitement bien installée, votre enfant peut voyager en toute sécurité.
Installation avec la base isofix IQ Orbit ou IQ 2.0
- Positionnez la base sur le siège du véhicule puis dépliez la jambe de force.
- Déployer les bras isofix des 2 côtés de la base, ancrez-les aux points d'ancrage situés dans le siège de la voiture entre le dossier et l'assise.
- Vérifier que les indicateurs soient passer au vert et pousser la base au maximum contre le dossier.
- Régler la hauteur de la jambe de force de manière a ce que le pied rencontre la résistance du plancher de la voiture.
- Placer la coque sur la base isofix déjà installée. Vous entendrez un clic caractéristique. Vérifier que l'indicacteur soit passé au vert.
